Wellabe is Brant Watson’s first stop in his career journey. In 2023, he started as an intern in the audit and risk department, working part time while he finished his management information systems and marketing degree. Now, he is working full time as an IT Auditor, and he’s proud he landed a job right out of college. 

“When I interned with Wellabe, I learned a lot from the team, and they made me feel valuable as an intern,” he says.

Brant has been exposed to several different projects in his role. He meets daily with technology team members to understand how they carry out the controls that they perform. He also guides other departments through looking for new ways to automate tasks in internal audit to help the business run more efficiently.

“I spend a lot of time on Excel, which is where we document all of our testing that we do throughout the year,” he says.

Looking ahead in his career at Wellabe, Brant has set multiple goals for himself.

“I want to continue to grow both technically and socially, challenge myself to be better than yesterday, and work towards a credential, like the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA),” he says.
