Julie Pearce says her love for problem solving comes from her father, who always encouraged her to try new things and explore different avenues in the pursuit of answers. Now, she gets to embrace curiosity in her role as Vice President, Chief Business Development and Transformation Officer at Wellabe. 

Julie connects innovators to Wellabe’s business units. “I’m responsible for developing and executing strategies across the enterprise, including leading the strategic business development activities,” she says. 

She appreciates the people and teams that she works with. Her role in leading the American Republic Insurance Services agency has expended her ability to connect with customers through new avenues. She also enjoys finding new, value-added solutions to move the company forward through the Be Well mutual rewards programs.

“I’m so excited about the opportunity to work with established and source-emerging companies for transformational opportunities to help execute our strategy, set us apart in the market, and enhance the well-being of our customers,” Julie says.

Before joining Wellabe six years ago, Julie’s work allowed her to explore different companies and business models. She also worked through multiple company mergers and acquisitions. These skills have been paramount during her time at Wellabe. 

Julie sees herself as a lifelong learner, which has positively positioned her to continue growing in her career.
